Hello Fellow Adventurers, Over Christmas break, Wave and I took the new tenement on wheels a 15-day road trip from our home in Oakesdale on a round trip of the western United States. A road trip of this length was an experiment of sorts. Wave and I – mostly Wave – have more dreams, desires, hobbies, and toys than we will be able to use or afford when we are finally able to retire, so we are putting all of our “I wanna’s” to the test now to see which ones we want to continue to fund in the next ten years. Ainsworth Hot Springs November 2024

The day after Thanksgiving, Wave and I ditched the turkey and leftovers, leaving my sister and our three-legged dog, Rusty, to their own devices. Erika and Rusty, bonded over nightly ham treats, were more than happy to let us escape while they tackled the ham carcass. Considering I’ll zip down to Portland, Oregon, on a whim—a five-hour trek in the opposite direction—it seemed ridiculous that we hadn’t ventured north before. So off we went.
